If so I need some advice! Lol. I got a free sectional sofa. However, it looks hideous. (1980′s style woven material) Ive looked into covers for it and they are expensive (like 4 k) so any advice or tips on doing this in an affordable way? I have no sewing ability’s and was considering buying a couch cover and love seat cover in the same colors hoping this will work but would like advice before I take the plunge

When you look directly at the chaise, a right facing only means that the arm is on the right side of the chaise itself. This is why they call it “facing.” So, the chaise will be on the “right” side of the sectional as you are facing it. Hope this helps.

56″W – means the total length of the couch from corner to corner.

39″D – means the depth of the couch from back to front of seat (measuring how wide it is at the side)

37″H – means the height of the couch from bottom (floor) to top of couch (highest part of the couch).

why not try some printed curtain fabric with some prints in burgundy pinks, green and peach. I mean some floral or geometrical prints. sheer curtains would look great too. artwork is up to your choice. but make sure it does not clash with the wall color. Another tip use the sofa color on the frame panel.

Question by Bingo Pajama: How can I keep the cushions for my sectional sofa from sliding around?
I have a vintage sectional sofa. The fabric is something like polyester but it is really slick so the cushions slide around all the time. There are three sections and three cushions. The couch has no arms so the cushions can slide right off if I sleep or lounge on the couch. I rotate the cushions so that I don’t wear them out so I don’t want to glue on velcro or anything. There has to be a way to fix this.
The couch is very slippery. It’s like those awful 80′s taffeta bridesmaid gowns.

dont glue on velcro,get the stick on velcros and stick em’ on !

Question by Nicky V: Microfiber Sectional Sofas – Should I Get One or Not?
Last month, I decided that it was time to get new furniture for my house as the current furniture is old and I just felt like it was time for a change. I’ve already bought most of the new furniture but now I am stuck with the sofas.

I decided to go for microfiber because, it is the best option for a person like me that suffers from allergies. I’ve looked into a few sofa sets and the microfiber sectional sofas grabbed my attention. I am not sure if this is such a good way to go so I want to know what the benefits are when it comes to sectional microfiber sofas.

Can someone please explain to me why I should (or shouldn’t) get a microfiber sectional sofa or just give some references that will help me make my choice?

I have friends that have it and love it. I have it and hate it. We purchased it a little over a year ago for our den (2 teen boys game room). I wouldn’t recommend it for someone with kids or pets. It hasn’t held up like I had hoped. They boys are in that room every day at some point either, alone, together, or with friends. Its a dark carmel color it DOES show stains. Do not allow food or drinks near it! Next time around I am buying leather or something that can hold up to kids. Just my two cents though…
